Police
Crofton Parish Council plays an important role in conjunction with the Police and District Council in ensuring that Crofton residents can benefit from a safe and sociable village life, affected as little as possible by crime and anti-social behaviour.
The importance of this commitment is reflected in our monthly meetings, where a police report for the previous month is considered at the outset of the meeting (see the relevant agenda).
How to report an issue to the Police:
- Ring 999 if it is an emergency
- Ring 101 if it is not an emergency
- Report minor, non-emergency crimes online
- Contact your Safe Scheme Representative or attend one of our monthly meetings to raise an issue, accessing our meeting documents beforehand and noting the appropriate time in the meeting to raise any issues
Nuisance/environmental issues
Please note that you will need to contact Wakefield Metropolitan District Council regarding any nuisance or environmental issues.
