Since opening library membership continues to increase with many coming from the new developments but also from existing residents. We would like to thank all those who are letting people know about the library as we are still getting people joining us who didn’t know there was still a library in the village. Again we would be grateful for existing members to continue spreading the word that Crofton does have a library and where it is.

Whilst everyone is welcome Parents/Guardians with their children are always especially welcomed to call in to encourage youngsters to start reading. Even if you are not a member why not call in for a drink and a biscuit or just for a natter, you will always be welcomed and you may even decide to join the library. There is no cost to join.

Membership requirements:

There is no charge to join, all we need is a name, address, contact number and/or email address. Anyone from Crofton and surrounding areas are welcome to join. we have members from Sharlston and Walton, etc already. Many members say we have a better and more up to date selection of books than when it was run by WMDC. One requirement would be it may be benificial to be able to read!!!!!!!
