District Council events
Half-term events:
Wakefield Community Trust run half-term activities in Crofton for children of school ages. The next session will be in February 2019 at the Community Centre in New Crofton.
Annual Fun Day:
The Fun Day has been run in partnership with the parish council for the past few years, at the Sidings Complex. The day usually runs from 11am-3pm, and a variety of groups and businesses take part. Often there a number of stalls in a rectangular shape, with certain activities taking place in the central part. Refreshments are provided in the Sidings Pavilion. The day is free and is seeing increasing attendance year-on-year. It is usually held on a Thursday around the beginning of August. Plans are currently being made regarding a 2020 Fun Day.
