Parish Centre
The Parish Centre working group looks after bookings of the parish centre for various events, including election polling days.
Councillors Chalkley and Bennett work in co-ordination with Parish Clerk Riley to consider any requests made by groups to use the parish centre.
Councillor Bennett takes responsibility for events and activities which concern the library. The library is located within the parish centre.
If you are looking to make contact regarding use of the centre for any event or meeting, in the first instance please contact our Parish Clerk Barry Riley here, so that we may consider your request.
New parish centre
The council is currently in the process of rebuilding the parish centre, to enhance the facilities for present and future community usage, which will cover both library, council and community resources (for groups booking the venue).
The council has already enlisted designs from an architect, and Councillors Bennett and Ripley have been leading the project. Currently, the council’s planning application is with WMDC; you can find more information here.
